Children love to receive any sort of post, particularly party invites!  Having a nice invitation is worth the investment as these become cherished momentos in your child's baby book for years to come.  

In addition, to the party time/date, location, also remember to add rsvp contact details, whether or not siblings are invited to attend, and if parents are expected to stay or simply drop off and pick up.
